What could be better than experiencing old Jyväskylä while you shop? Now you can at Sparvin Museum Shop, which sells a range of products set in late 19th century Jyväskylä. While you’re shopping, you can also stop by in the workshop space of the house, which offers free, open workshops with changing themes throughout the year. The museum shop is in Sparvin House, which is the oldest residential building in Jyväskylä that still stands on its original plot. The house was completed in 1861. The museum shop is a separate Museum of Central Finland site and is open all year round.
