Toivola House will open on September 23rd
The Toivola house, designed by blacksmith Herman Toivola, who was still a tenant at the property at the time, was completed in 1890. The building has met the changing needs of the Toivola Old Courtyard throughout its history. The Toivola House is currently closed. The new art exhibition and roastery & store will open on September 23rd

A new art exhibition, which opens on September 23, 2021, will feature the art by Kari and Samuli Alonen and Katja Rauhamäki. The exhibition will feature various forms of art. Design Alonen’s own space is located in Pykälistö, while Katja Rauhamäki has her studio in Kuhankoski, Laukaa. Samuli Alonen describes the exhibition in Toivola as a “taster”.
The Toivola exhibition also includes pieces of Toivola’s history in different forms, as well as dinnerware sets.
A roastery & store will also be opened in Toivola House on September 23rd. From the roastery & shop you will find a variety of quality coffee products, delicacies and coffee containers. In the roastery, Toivola’s guests are served by the cheerful Brandon Trujillo and his team.
